Conditions We Treat

Specialty infusion therapies for complex and chronic conditions across multiple medical specialties

Many medications are not effectively absorbed through oral administration and may not achieve optimal therapeutic effect. Infusion therapy offers a more direct and efficient method of delivery, allowing treatments to work as intended.

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)

A chronic autoimmune disorder that causes painful inflammation, swelling, and stiffness in the joints, most commonly in the hands, wrists, and knees.

Lupus

A systemic autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks healthy tissue, potentially affecting the joints, skin, kidneys, heart, and other organs.

Psoriatic Arthritis

An inflammatory condition that causes joint pain, swelling, and stiffness in people who also have the skin condition psoriasis.

Ankylosing Spondylitis

A chronic inflammatory disease that primarily affects the spine and sacroiliac joints, leading to persistent back pain and reduced mobility over time.

Vasculitis

A group of disorders that cause inflammation of the blood vessels, which can restrict blood flow and damage organs and tissues throughout the body.

Gout

A form of inflammatory arthritis triggered by excess uric acid buildup, causing sudden and severe episodes of joint pain, swelling, and redness.

Crohn's Disease

A chronic inflammatory bowel disease that can affect any part of the digestive tract, leading to abdominal pain, diarrhea, fatigue, and nutritional deficiencies.

Ulcerative Colitis

A chronic condition that causes inflammation and ulcers along the inner lining of the large intestine and rectum.

Short Bowel Syndrome

A condition in which the body cannot absorb enough nutrients due to a significant portion of the small intestine being missing or nonfunctional.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

A chronic disease in which the immune system attacks the protective covering of nerves, disrupting communication between the brain and the rest of the body.

Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder

A rare autoimmune condition that primarily attacks the optic nerves and spinal cord, causing vision loss, weakness, and pain.

Migraine Prophylaxis

Preventive infusion therapy for patients with chronic migraines who have not responded adequately to conventional oral medications.

Alzheimer's Disease

A progressive neurological condition that gradually impairs memory and cognitive function, now treatable with newer infusion therapies that target amyloid plaques in the brain.

Primary Immunodeficiency (PI)

A group of inherited disorders in which the immune system does not function properly, leading to frequent and severe infections.

Secondary Immunodeficiency

A weakened immune system caused by external factors such as medication, illness, or medical treatment, increasing susceptibility to infections.

Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP)

A rare neurological disorder that causes progressive weakness and impaired sensation in the legs and arms due to damage to the peripheral nerve coverings.

Myasthenia Gravis

A neuromuscular disorder that causes weakness in the voluntary muscles, particularly those controlling eye movement, facial expressions, swallowing, and breathing.

Plaque Psoriasis

The most common form of psoriasis, causing raised, red patches covered with silvery-white scales that can appear on the elbows, knees, scalp, and lower back.

Atopic Dermatitis

A chronic skin condition that causes intense itching, redness, and inflammation, often requiring advanced therapy when topical treatments are not enough.

Eosinophilic Asthma

A severe form of asthma driven by elevated levels of eosinophils, a type of white blood cell, that does not respond well to standard inhalers alone.

Dermatomyositis

A rare inflammatory disease that causes muscle weakness and a distinctive skin rash, often affecting the eyelids, knuckles, chest, and back, and may also impact the lungs and other organs.

Iron Deficiency Anemia

A condition in which the blood lacks sufficient healthy red blood cells due to low iron levels, causing fatigue, weakness, and shortness of breath.

Fabry Disease

A rare inherited genetic disorder that causes a buildup of a specific type of fat in the body’s cells, leading to progressive damage to the kidneys, heart, and nervous system.

Osteoporosis

A condition that weakens bones and makes them more fragile and prone to fractures, often treated with infusion therapy when oral medications are not effective or tolerated.

We also support a range of other physician-directed infusion therapies based on patient needs and provider orders.
